In Iran and in courtiers similar to it, men are usually considered the bread winner of the family. In such situation, women perform the role of housewives. But neither the religion of Islam nor the Iranian traditions prevent women from working outside home and becoming the bread winner too. What constitutes a problem on the way of a woman in charge of heading a household are obstacles in the public sphere which make her vulnerable. These problems are SOCIAL in nature. The aim of this article is to clarify these problems from the standpoint of bread winning women and to explain such issues through secondary data analysis. Finally, the article attempts to portray single parent mothers and illuminate the problems they face, problems which at times remain untold.

The aim of this research is to study the SOCIAL disorganization of the Harandi neighborhood in Tehran and One of its SOCIAL latent pathology. Data research is collected through qualitative methods and also techniques are interviews and observation. The sample size is 35 gamblers lived in Harandi neighborhood. Research findings indicate that Harandi neighborhood’s structure faces with SOCIAL disorganization that this situation creates latent and manifest SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES. Gambling is one of them. The results show that Gamblers are mostly men and Gambling Link with other kinds of SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES as Addiction, theft, Family conflicts, Violence Etc. In this paper, 10 SOCIAL documentaries produced after the Islamic Revolution of Iran were analyzed using a sociological approach. The purposes of the research were to understand the following: (1) Howare SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES of children and adolescents represented in SOCIAL documentaries produced after the Islamic Revolution of Iran? (2) Which of the four institutions, namely family, government, school, and media, is considered as the main culpable institution in the emergence of SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES in children and adolescents in the analyzed documentaries.Theoretical framework of this paper is inspired by John Hogan s categories of SOCIAL issues. The documentaries were analyzed using three approaches of sociology on SOCIAL issues: functionalism, conflict, and symbolic interactionism.The method used was the qualitative content analysis.The results of the research indicated that due to the open SOCIAL and political atmosphere of the country, SOCIAL documentaries made during the early years of the Revolution represented SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES using the conflict approach. In other words, the class conflict of the society was suggested as the cause of SOCIAL problems of children and adolescents. Gradually, in 1370s and 1380s, documentarians approaches changed and they adopted functionalist and, in cases, symbolic interactionist approachesin making documentaries. In other words, poverty, lack of family control, companion of friends, etc. were introduced as the main factors of SOCIAL PATHOLOGIESin children and adolescents. Moreover, family was identified as the primary culpable institution in the emergence of SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES.

This paper is a theoretical analysis that highlights a conceptual framework combined of "Iranian Modernism" and "Egocentric Rationality" in order to explain SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES in Iran. Current paper climes that a specific representation of modernism in Iran has resulted in formation of a special kind of rationality mixed with modern instrumental rationality and modern individualism which is in line with "Iranian historical egocentrism" and "individuation". This combination has brought about a "black rationality" which is highly individualistic, narcissistic, competitive, calculative, interest seeker, goal oriented, neutral and indifferent to SOCIAL outcomes of his actions. Because of absence of modern institutions that can limit such rationality, weakening of traditional morals and lack of alternative modern morality this framework has become a basis for action in a large part of society. Those SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES which are generally attributed as SOCIAL immoralities are consequences of this form of rationality.

The ethical actions are important because of the priority of the mission goal and their close relationship with SOCIAL progress and development. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the identification and SOCIAL analysis of these types of actions among the verses of revelation and it deals with the effect of ethical actions in the production of SOCIAL capital in the process of progress based on religious teachings and answers these questions based on the Quranic teachings. What impact do ethical actions (behavior) have on the formation of SOCIAL progress? How do moral actions generate SOCIAL capital and influence progress (development)? What coordinates, examples and dimensions does this group of actions have? What are the effects and consequences of this group of actions? Those actions that are desirable and progressive in the development of SOCIAL interactions have been SOCIALly studied, analyzed and searched by using the inductive content analysis method. Honesty, trustworthiness and fulfillment of an obligation, altruism (Arabic: إیثار, self-sacrifice), asking forgiveness or istighfār (Arabic: استغفار ʾistiġfār), and forgiving others, kindness, non-violence, chastity and purity, patience and honesty and benevolent actions combined with SOCIAL supervision have been discussed, which lead to sincerity, togetherness, coherence and expansion of SOCIAL interactions and emotional relationships far from hatred and warm and emotional relationships and as a result, it causes the production of SOCIAL capital and its improvement and will lead to the density of actions focused on purpose and excellence that are necessary for progress.

Introduction: Spatial analysis of urban SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES helps to identify patterns of criminal behavior, discover at-risk areas and eventually change the situation by creating spaces for defeating SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES and eliminate them from the city. This article aims to study the socio-cultural challenges of private dormitories in Tehran. The population of research is all students who are living in private dormitories. The data are collected through quantitative (questionnaires) and qualitative (interviews and observations) methods. The results show that students in private dormitories are faced with the problems and challenges such as lack of privacy due to population density, conflict among students, non-student residents, lack of belonging to the dorm, alienation from the dormitory, conflicts with neighbors and tendency to risky behavior and SOCIAL vulnerabilities as watching of illegal movies and sites, smoking, and use of drugs.
